After a sports injury in high school left him missing a front tooth and undergoing jaw surgery, he gained a firsthand appreciation for compassionate, skilled dental care. That experience inspired him to serve others through dentistry. He earned his DDS from the University of Colorado and completed an AEGD residency while serving five years in the U.S. Navy, including a deployment aboard an aircraft carrier. He has also completed advanced implant training through the AAID Maxicourse.
